My name is Lance Wright and I want to personally welcome you to a new way of living Life Over Addiction. As an Addiction Specialist/Sober coach with over 25 years of experience in Addiction Treatment, Transformational Life Coaching, and other recovery programming I want to help you navigate your life’s path back to one of meaning and purpose. I work with clients from a place of deep compassion and empathy; understanding that shame and guilt are the chains that bind one to their past troubles and addiction.

To Doctors and Therapists:

I work with you in a Treatment Team Collaboration which allows for deeper understanding from multiple fronts allowing for a more comprehensive and concise treatment of client. In this capacity I meet with the clients privately during the course of the week to counsel and coach clients in both addiction and other life issues as they arise or in line with life goals as determined with client, work with respective doctor/therapist to gain and assist with a deeper insight into client’s issues, and ultimately help the client grow into a meaningful and fulfilling life.

To Treatment Facilities and IOP’s:

I facilitate Process Groups and do individual addiction counseling sessions throughout the greater Los Angeles area upon request. I am well versed in 12-step and Transformational Methodology, Anger Awareness, and Addiction Education. I am knowledgeable with electronic health records systems KIPU and Medical Mimi. Available for Sober Escort or transportation upon request.

To Family Members and Loved Ones:

Addiction is a problem for the whole family unit, yet many family members or loved ones have little to no understanding of what to do. Living with addiction in your family is both painful and exhausting, leading to frustration, anger, and further conflict. Often understanding what addiction is, how to begin charting a new path for the family towards establishing healthy boundaries (with Support), and helping the addict become open to help is a tall order. I am here to help you with these issues and more. Let me help bring sanity back to your home, family, and loved one.

To Criminal Justice Professionals and Counsel:

If you have a client with criminal charges who lacks insight or has problems with addiction to drugs, alcohol, or other behavioral addictions (gambling, gangs, white color crimes, etc.) I am available to assist. With over 25+years of experience working with individuals from every facet of the criminal lifestyle and addiction I am able to assist them with both insight and quite possibly a path out of the chaos their lives have become.
